THE QUIET HOUR is a science-fiction thriller written and directed by Stéphanie Joalland and produced by Sean McConville (DEADLINE) through their UK production company Frenzy Films.
It stars Dakota Blue Richards (THE GOLDEN COMPASS, SKINS), Karl Davies (GAME OF THRONES), Jack McMullen (WATERLOO ROAD) and Brigitte Millar (HARRY POTTER AND THE ORDER OF THE PHOENIX, SPECTRE).
THE QUIET HOUR was shot in the County of Tipperary in Ireland and is currently playing the festival circuit around the world. The film premiered in competition at the Galway Film Fleadh, then was nominated for Best UK Feature at the Raindance Film Festival in London and was one of the 12 international films in competition at the Sofia International Film Festival. In April 2015 THE QUIET HOUR played opening night at the Myrtle Beach Film Festival, was showcased as a UK film at the Newport Beach Film Festival in California, and won Best Feature Film at the Kansas City Film Festival. THE QUIET HOUR continues to play at film festivals around the world in the second of half of 2015, including Other Worlds Austin, Sci-Fi London, Niagara Integrated Film Festival in Canada, Fantafestival in Rome, Twin Cities Film Fest in Minneapolis, MN, etc.
THE QUIET HOUR was recently picked up for worldwide sales by Vision Films, a sales agent based out of Los Angeles. Vision Films are currently negotiating with foreign and domestic distributors at sales markets throughout the world.
